Conjunto Impacto was formed in 1975 in Miami, Florida playing traditional Cuban Music/Salsa and was one of the fans favorites at the time. One of their most popular recordings was the album which included “Los Limones” and “Que Bueno esta este Pais”. This was the beginning of a successful musical career that lasted a decade of performances and recorded eight LPs.

Conjunto Impacto was under the musical direction of bassist Mario Perez and through the years the band was fortunate to have vocalists like Ramon “Monchy” Estevez, Jose “Pepe” Cordo, David Santiago, Pepe Mora, Lefty Perez, Willy Garcia and Israel Kantor Sardiñas. Also among it’s members were composers Tres player “Jorge Cabrera”, Enildo Padron and piano player Kenny Gomez. “Conjunto Impacto” was also the preferred backup band of the most popular Salsa singers which came to perform in Miami at that time.

On February 25, 2011 “Conjunto Impacto” reunited after 26 years. This date marked the beginning of a new era in it’s musical history. Under the same direction of Mario Perez and now performing several of it’s original musicians and the very talented vocalists Juan Carlos Hernandez and Jenny Love.

In 2012 Conjunto Impacto headed back to the recording studios to provide the public with it’s unique style and sound.

In March 2013 Conjunto Impacto released  their 9th album “El Regreso”  Available On  cdbaby
