Tarzana Band | Debut Album


Tarzana is a 10 piece bi-lingual band of professional Latino musicians from the U.S., Caribbean, Central and South America, who have played in the best Salsa and Jazz bands on the West Coast. The Tarzana band is comprised of the most talented musicians living in Southern California. The band distinguishes itself as the only band or artist that plays all the popular forms of Tropical music, that appeals to Latin music dancers today, especially the U.S. Latino audiences, which loves a variation of Latin rhythms, from Salsa to Latin-Jazz.

The album “Tarzana” features their tight rhythm section that sets the foundation for the band’s powerful horn section that will remind you of the early days of Eddie Palmieri’s bands. The percussion style of Henry Carrera, who brings out the Afro-Cuban sound that unifies the band’s Tropical sound, is the heart & soul of Tarzana.

The band has remarkably unique vocals & harmonies that also features the fantastic playing & arrangements of piano player, Hector Rivera (who produced the title album) and the amazing guitar work of 24-year-old Gabriel Garcia.
