Los Kintos “Vol.III” | Abanico Records

Abanico Records is delighted to annouce  the release of their new CD by the best bands of the 70’s Perù latin scene.

Los Kintos - Vol III - front

Press Release: When we contacted legendary Latin Label Discos MAG, our plan was to license “La Esencia Del Guaguancò” and “Lo Que Dijo La Gitana”. Much to our surprise we were told by MAG that those two tracks were part of an LP recorded in 70’s that had never seen the light of day in 33rpm. These tracks were released only a handful of 45s!

After nearly 50 years, we were able to complete this project, which has never seen the light after its recording, we are very proud to present this previously unreleased Latin monster CD/LP by Los Kintos (Surquillo – Perù).

Recorded by the finest musicians in the Surquillo (Perù) Latin scene, including Pancho Acosta , Domingo Guzman , Alberto “Betto” Villena , Don Enrique “Kike” Aparcana and many more.Whether you like to Cumbia, dance to the Salsa or swing to the beat of the killer Guaguancó, you’re in for a treat!
